This is your basic creatine monohydrate powder. It is a great place to start if you are new to supplementing with creatine. The quality level of GNC labeled products is excellent. Everyone has their preferences but it is hard to argue their product quality. This creatine is flavorless, which is a great thing for those of you who want to experiment with mixing possibilities. It allows you to see how your body reacts to the different methods of uptake. i.e. with dextrose, with a sport drink (Gatorade), with grape juice to name a few. The other thing we liked about this one was how it mixed. Creatine Monohydrate by nature is not highly water soluble. It seems no matter how well you mix it, there’s always granules left in the bottom of the glass. Admittedly, it doesn’t mix 100%, but we’ve also never found a monohydrate that does.
